Corners are worn, edges rubbed. Spine and rear cover slightly grubby, front cover lightly scuffed. Name plate to front pastedown. Inscription in pencil to front free-endpaper. Foxing to contents.

Some foxing and fingering to contents. Plate opposite page 56 is loose but still present.
