Brown decorated cloth with gilt title labels and small oval floral onlay to front cover. Large format 11.5 x 8.75". Bumping and wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Some darkening to cover edges. Onlay and gilt on front cover ribbed. A few short scratches to rear cover. Endpapers browned. Light foxing to contents but colours are bright and pages are generally clean.

All plates present and in fine condition, tissue guard to frontis is browned.

A nice collection of the traditional nursery fairy tales with 16 full page colour illustrations and b/w sketches throughout. Cloth spine. Colour pictorial cover. 74 pages. 11.5 x 9". Circa 1930s. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Wear to edge of onlay. Rear cover slightly browned and grubby with small amount of faint pencil writing. Endpapers browned. A couple of hinges cracked. Light foxing throughout otherwise contents clean. All plates present, tear to edge of one just touches margin of illustration, nicks to top edge of another.

Comprising The Golden Alphabet, Dorothy's Dolls, Red Riding Hood's Party. Grey and blue pictorial cloth. Full-page pictures printed in colour by Edmund Evans. All edges gilt. A delightful Victorian book. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers are grubby and marked. Both joints cracked. Some damp damage to contents, two pages have been stuck together on bottom margin, now torn apart causing surface paper damage to last line of text and a few other pages have surface paper damage or tears to bottom edge. Large 5.5" tear to one illustration. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Numerous pencil marks to contents. mostly short lines to blank pages. Grubby marks to contents.
