Inscription in ink to half-title page. Foxing throughout.

Wrapper is edge-torn and chipped, with loss to top of spine and front panel; some creasing.

The story of how the children's holiday nearly ended in disaster - all Marjorie's fault of course! New Edition. Orange cloth, colour frontis, b/w illustrations. Spine a little bumped with a small dark mark at bottom. Name and date to front endpaper. Last couple of pages browned. Top corners of pages 55 - 62 are creased. Foxing to page edges. Dustwrapper is edge worn with tears to either side of spine. Spine and rear panel are grubby. Spine faded.

Dustwrapper is heavily dampstained to rear panel and grubby to front panel with some slight loss at edges.
