The story of a year in the life of a badger and his mate. Superb b/w illustrations (full-page and to text). Brown boards, silver title to spine. 95 pages. 8.5 x 6.5". Some light wear along cover edges. Award plate to front endpaper. Page edge browning. Small damp mark to page edge of last few pages of book. Wrapper is browned, creased with many edge-tears and chips; some loss to corners and top and tail of spine.

A fantastic collection of nursery rhymes! Soft green leather/suede covers, gilt titles. . Gilt page edges. Colour frontis piece. Some two tone colour plates. B/w illustrations throughout. Larger format. Heavy wear and some damage to cover edges. Pastedowns are starting to come away from suede at edges; also creased. Marks to covers; a few nicks. Some damp marks along a few edges. Some margin marks, but contents are still generally very good in this more unusual format of this title!
