Contains January 1882 to December 1883. Dark textured spine with gilt bands and titles. Marbled boards, dark corners. 26 colour plates, one different to title listed. Spine bumped and worn with some loss from top and small splits to base. Wear to corners and cover edges. Covers scuffed. Foxing throughout. Browning mainly to pages opposite plates. All plates present but one has vertical crease.

Spine bumped, worn and faded with nick to bottom edge. Wear to corner and cover edges. Covers grubby and marked with stains to rear cover. Top 2" of front joint cracked plus a couple of hinges cracked. Two pages are detached, one with ragged edges. 2" tear to title page alongside spine. Some light browning, foxing and marks to contents. All plates present, tear to bottom margin of frontis. Small bookseller's label to rear pastedown.
