Small patch of surface paper damage and a small crayon mark to front cover. Prize plate and name in ink to top margin inside front cover (which is a colour plate). Some yellow crayon to one illustration. Small biro mark to first text page. Surface paper torn from top corner of inside rear cover (also a colour plate).

Black cloth, yellow title to spine and vignette to front cover. Yellow and black pictorial endpapers. Colour and b/w illustrations. Story based on the verse by Goethe. Spine and corners bumped, some fading to top of spine. Light fingering to page edges. Dustwrapper is very worn and torn with substantial loss to spine and to top of rear panel. What remains of wrapper is in two pieces (split at rear spine fold).

A trip to Brazil was an unexpected pleasure in the summer holidays. However when they got there they discovered that their host, Brian Mauleverer had disappeared. Peach boards. Small format. Pink cloth, blue titles. Full page b/w illustrations. 148 pages. Spine bumped and lightly browned at base. Small 'splash' mark to rear cover. Light page browning and foxing else contents clean. Contained in an original, extremely scarce dustwrapper which is slightly grubby/foxed, lightly faded to spine and has a very small tear to top edge of rear panel. This copy would make a wonderful gift.

Large format. 36 tinted line-drawn plates and text illustrations. Brown cloth, gilt titles to spine; brick red titles and vignette to front cover. 144 pages. One of the more unusual Rackham items. 2nd issue. Small splits and chips to top and tail of spine; some fraying to cloth. Corners are bumped and worn. Marks to covers. Foxing to outer page edges. Some grubby margin marks. B/w line drawing to title page has been coloured with water colours.
