Contains short stories and verse about animals. De-Luxe Edition with red pictorial cloth and gilt title to front cover. 24 chromolithograph plates, b/w text illustrations. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Covers ever so slightly grubby. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Some foxing to contents, mainly to margins and some grubby fingermarks but generally contents are clean.
