Nearly fine condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Culled by De Vries from the Osborne Collection of Early Children's Books. An agreeable Garland of Prose & Poetry for the Instruction and Amusement of little Masters and Misses and their distinguished Parents. Large format. Brown decorated boards with gilt title to spine. Embellished with some 750 elegant woodcuts and Engravings of which upwards of 125 are coloured. 232 pages. Corners bumped. Wrapper lightly edge-browned.

Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
An Anthology of Victorian Children's books and periodicals. Full of colour & b/w illustrations, many full-page. Green boards, gilt decorations to spine and front cover. 240 pages. Top of spine and top corners bumped. A few small foxspots else a bright copy. Wrapper is slightly edge rubbed and a little grubby, date (June 1970) written in ink on front flap of wrapper.
