Dark blue covers with gilt border. 11 x 8.5". Three stories bound in one volume. 8 text pages plus 4 full page chromolithograph illustrations to each volume. Spine and corners bumped and worn. A few marks to covers. Tiny nick to front edge of spine. Front joint cracked. Name to top edge of verso of frontis in each volume, some transfer of ink to page opposite. Brown mark to edge of Moses title page. Water stain to outside edge of both sets of endpapers. Some browning to contents but is mostly from colour illustration opposite.
