Green cloth, gilt title and decoration to front cover. Lovely chromolithograph and b/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Light page browning, foxing to front endpapers. Some hinges are cracked causing contents to be a little loose.
Cloth spine, pictorial covers. Small format, 6.25 x 5". Chromolithographs and rhymes. Sepia text. A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Covers slightly grubby and lightly browned. Staples rusty. Browning to verso of frontis. Some foxing and light browning to contents. A few light fingermarks to margins. A couple of the chromolithographs have small spots of surface paper damage, assume they have been lightly stuck to page opposite. Not dated but British Library say possibly 1884.
Small format (5 x 4"). White pictorial cardwraps. Chromolithograph illustrations. All edges gilt. Covers slightly grubby. Some light page browning/foxing else contents clean. Tiny booksellers sticker to inside front cover.

Green cloth, gilt and silver decorations to front cover. Chromolithos, some full-page. 40 pages. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Covers grubby, gilt dulled, a lot of white marks to rear cover. A few hinges cracked so binding feels weak. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Browning, light foxing and a few marks to endpapers and contents. Patch of light blue colour to edge of one colour plate.

Corners worn. Covers a bit grubby and marked. Name plate and address in ink to front pastedown, glue from name plate has transferred to endpaper causing a small hole. Inscription in ink to half-title page. Front joint partly cracked, some hinges pulled. Some light foxing to contents and some fingering to page margins. Still a nice copy of an attractive little book.
