B/w photos and drawings. Green cloth, gilt titles. 160 pages. 8 x 5.5 inches. Spine bumped. Erased name to front endpaper and rear pastedown. Contents browned with some light foxing. Tiny hole to rear joint. Dustwrapper is edge worn with a few tears and chips, tear to base of spine repaired on verso with clear tape. Most of surface paper is missing from spine and is also missing from edges of front panel. A couple of small holes to grubby rear panel.

Contains three stories (Peter the Pied Piper, The Princess in the Sleeping Wood, Rip van Winkle) adapted into plays. Black boards with gilt titles to front and spine and vignette to front cover. Colour plates. 96 pages. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Fading to gilt on spine and some of gilt on front cover. Front endpaper is MISSING. Browning to endpapers which are also a little grubby. Some foxing and a few margin marks.

Pictorial boards, red cloth spine. Front cover shows Brer Rabbit sat on post fishing, advert to rear. 2 colour plates, packed with b/w text illustrations. 223 pages. Light bumping to top and tail of spine. Cover is beautifully bright. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Foxing to outer page edges. A few light margin marks. Still has original glassine wrapper, which is creased and edge-torn with a small amount of loss. Contained also in original posting box, which is marked, with some wear.

Colour frontis, b/w text illustrations. Spine and corners a little bumped. Name and date to front endpaper. Browning to endpapers. One page may have come out and been re-inserted as it seems slightly bigger than the rest. Some light foxing to prelims and page edges. Dust wrapper is slightly edge worn with a couple of tears. Spine is browned and wrapper is grubby with light yellow marks to rear cover.

Pictorial wrapper is edge-torn and chipped with loss to corners, small tape repair to top of front panel and top of spine and is grubby. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper.

Spine bumped and faded with small dark mark to centre. Covers edge rubbed. Endpapers browned, small piece chipped from lower edge of front endpaper. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. Foxing to page edges. One plate has slight damage to edges, one mount has very slight paper damage to verso.
