Foxing and light fingering to contents, light pink stain to inner margin of last plate (affecting the illustration slightly). A very desirable copy of a scarce Wain title. This copy would make a wonderful gift.

Volume 3 has a small ink mark by staple to covers and there is a tiny mark to front cover of volume 5. There are a few light creases to covers and tiny nicks at edges. Overall the books are lovely and bright and would be difficult to find in better condition. Box has creases and is slightly edge rubbed, there is an inscription in blue biro to lower edge of front of box.
