A humorous tale written principally by a lady of ninety, edited with additional verses by Ruskin. Oblong format. Pictorial boards, 31 pages. Colour illustrations. Top of spine bumped. Wear to ends of spine and corners. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with a couple of tears and chips. 1" tear to bottom edge of rear panel. Spine lightly browned.

Spine and corners bumped, small splash mark to lower edge of rear cover. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Endpapers lightly browned. Foxing and fingermarks to contents but generally they are clean. Joints are cracked but binding still tight.
