Text block a little grubby and foxed. Contents clean. Grey pictorial dustwrapper is browned to spine and rubbed at top & tail. Includes a list of corrections typed up to Dr. Fawcett, from D.M. Walker.

Leather spine and corners, raised bands to spine with gilt title. Green cloth boards. Red text block. vi and 270 pages plus Genealogical tables to rear. Leather rubbed and lightly worn at corners. Gilt title to spine completely rubbed away leaving a blind title. Joints starting to crack but binding nice and tight. A few scattered foxspots present. Overall a very nice copy considering the age.
