Rebound in blue cloth boards which are heavily affected by damp. New endpapers. Froint inner hinge is split but otherwise the binding is nice and snug. 1" tear to top gutter edge of frontispiece. Damp patch to top margins of plates. All plates are present. Some foxing and grubby marks to contents but generally a decent copy internally.

Name in ink to verso of front endpaper. Some hinges pulled but binding is tight. Some age related marks throughout including browning and foxing. All plates are present, some affected by foxing/browning.

Green cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations within the text. xi and 203 pages including index plus four page publication adverts to rear. Top & tail of spine and corners lightly rubbed. Text block browned. Top of title page has been cut off and is missing but does not affect the title itself. Some light page browning. Rear endpapers a little grubby. Overall a decent copy.
