Leather spines and corners. Maroon title blocks to spines, gilt titles. Marbled outer page edges and endpapers. 203 hand-coloured plates. Bookplates of 'The Wheelton hind Collection 1920' to front pastedown of each book. Rear join at rear of Volume 1 (on outside); leather has split, but still holding together well. Some scuffs and chips of leather spines and corners. Foxing to prelims of books; some margin marks; page browning. Hand-coloured illustrations are still nice and bright.
Green cloth, gilt title to spine and front cover. Black borders and decorations. Fold-out map to front. 2 hand coloured illustrations by Keulemans. Other b/w plates and illustrations. Ex-lib with some usual markings; binding is weak; joints are cracked and showing stitching; some tape to front joint. Bookplate to front pastedown. From the personal library of Bryan L. Sage, distinguished naturalist and author. Splits to spine; some fraying of cloth. Fold-out map has couple of tears. Some grubby marks and foxing. All plates present. A reading copy ONLY!
Purple cloth. Gilt title to spine. 166 pages. Bound with Supplement to the Flora of Liverpool 1855, 28 pages. Rebacked with original spine laid down. Spine and cover edges browned. Bookplate to front pastedown. Title page browned else contents very good.
