Almost very good condition. The thoughts and feelings that have occupied the author's mind during a nine months' residence on the charming shores of North and South Devon. Green cloth boards, gilt title to spine. 28 colour & b/w plates. xvi and 451 pages including index.

Spine faded to brown, edges of boards lightly faded, rear board damp stained to veritcal edge and a pen mark to lower edge. Corners rubbed and worn. Joints cracked and repaired. Name in ink to verso of front endpaper. Some hinges pulled but binding is tight. Some age related marks throughout including browning and foxing. All plates are present, some affected by foxing/browning.
