De Luxe edition limited to 300 numbered copies and signed by the illustrator. White cloth, blue borders and orange tree design with gilt titles. 75 tissue-guarded plates. Top edge gilt. SIGNED by the artist (no dedication) and numbered 128 (of 300). Spine browned, boards marked and grubby. Top & tail of spine worn and fraying. Front hinge pulled with residue surface paper from front endpaper stuck to half-title page. Rear hinge pulled wide, free rear endpaper is stuck to rear pastedown (possibly a binding error). Some inner hinges pulled else the binding is tight. Some foxing present especially to tissue-guards but not the plates themselves. Small damp stain to margins and lower corner of last few pages and plates.

Boards grubby and stained, rear edge of spine has a small patch of cloth fraying.Joints cracked, rear endpaper missing. Binding of first few pages weak and will possibly disintegrate further so that the pages are loose. Binding glue drying out and thus a few weak spots. A few foxspots throughout. All plates present and clean.
