Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
An adventure story for boys. Lord Fancis Westow finds it necessary to send the famous Westow Talisman to Egypt by aeroplane... Light tan cloth, brown titles. 4 b/w plates. 224 pages. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Tiny booksellers sticker to front pastedown. Foxing to textblock. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and creased with very slight loss and grubby to rear panel and spine.

Green pictorial cloth, cream titles. Colour frontis plate, 4 b/w plates. 7 x 5". 256 pages. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Small split to base of spine. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Page browning; some foxing. Wrapper spine is very browned with foxing and couple of small pieces of loss to base; grubby marks also to wrapper; some edge-creasing.

Fair condition.
Cloth spine, dark green paper boards with pictorial onlay to front. 35 colour illustrations including half-title page and title page. All about 'Daddy Cat'. Covers are worn with some creasing and some slight surface paper damage. Spine bumped and rubbed. Contents are well fingered with creases and some small tears. Tiny patch of surface paper damage to lower margin of frontis (doesn't actually affect the illustration). Overall a good reading copy of a scarce Wain book.

Pale brown paper boards with black title and chequerboard design. Pictorial onlay to front cover. Blue pictorial endpapers. Beautiful colour pictures. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Light page browning else contents clean. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn, a little grubby and slightly stained to rear panel. Name and date in ink to top edge of front panel. A nice copy of an early edition.
