Red pictorial cloth with gilt title labels. B/w illustrations throughout. 528 pages plus index to Vol 1. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers a bit grubby and marked. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Foxing to textblock, some light fingermarks to page margins and some corner tips creased.

A Tale of the Wars of Aurangzebe. Red pictorial cloth, gilt title to spine. 240 pages plus booklist to rear. 6 b/w plates. Spine and corners bumped and worn, spine darkened. Covers slightly grubby. Inscription in ink to front endpaper and a small hole to top of same page (caused by removal of a small sticker). Front joint (between frontis and title-page) is broken but the stitching is holding. Foxing and light page browning to contents.
