Large format, cloth spine. Colour pictorial front board. 8 colour plates plus b/w illustrations. 96 pages. Spine and corners bumped and worn, cover edges worn. Some slight grubbiness to rear cover and light scratch marks to front. Endpapers lightly browned. Foxing to textblock. Grubby fingermarks to page margins.

Some wear to corners and board edges. A little scuffing to top of front board. Light browning to endpapers. Some hinges cracked. Light foxing to endpapers otherwise contents clean.

An anthology of short stories. Large format. Cloth spine, pictorial front board showing boy and girl on a swing. 8 full-page colour illustrations, b/w text illustrations throughout. First story is "The Knight and the Dragon" (told in rhyme). Spine bumped, corners worn. Covers are slightly grubby with a few small ink spots to rear cover. Gold address label to top margin of front pastedown (which is also the frontis - but it is in the margin so picture not affected). Prize plate neatly inserted at inner margin of title-page. Grubby fingermarks and pale page browning to contents. Neat list of illustrator names written in pencil to verso of title-page.

Large format, cream cloth spine. Beige boards with pictorial onlay to front. 8 pretty colour plates. B/w text illustrations. A little bumping to spine and corners. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Browning to page edges. Small tears to bottom of some pages. Top corner of page 11/12 missing. Stain to bottom of page 44 and margin of plate opposite, also affects a few pages before. Couple of hinges pulled leading to bottom of a couple of plates being detached. Contents generally clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some tears, creases and several small areas of loss. Wrapper is grubby with a few marks. Some browning to verso.

Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Front cover has rubbed patch near top edge and a few light scratches. Rear cover is grubby. ink inscription to front pastedown. Rear joint partially cracked. Light foxing and a few marks to contents.
Cloth spine, pictorial covers, front shows baby with toy monkey. 12 full page colour illustrations with title below. Spine worn with 3.5" split to rear edge which has been glued into place, small split with some fraying to top. Wear to corners and cover edges. Covers grubby and marked. Split to tape at bottom of most hinges. 3.5" split to top of one hinge. Crack to one board alongside spine. Small margins to margins, illustrations still bright.

Covers grubby with some small marks, tiny chips to edges of onlay plus a couple of scratches and grubby marks. Both joints and a couple of hinges cracked. Neat ink inscription to front endpaper. Colouring to about 3 b/w illustrations. About 4 pages are torn along spine edge for top 3", mainly next to cracked hinges. Endpapers browned. Just a few marks and fox spots to contents.
16 Stories. Red cloth spine, pictorial paper front board shows witch reading to pixies. First story is Henny-Penny. 4 colour plates by Appleton plus numerous b/w illustrations by Fry. 125 pages. Spine bumped and faded with 0.75" hole to rear edge. Wear to corners and cover edges. Covers grubby with a little scuffing. Ink inscription to front pastedown and completed book plate below. A couple of hinges cracked. Contents lightly browned with some foxing and just an odd mark. All plates present, one has a couple of small marks.

Large format. Cream cloth spine. Beige boards with large pictorial onlay to front. 8 attractive colour plates. B/w text illustrations. A little bumping to spine and corners. A few small marks to covers. Light lines to onlay (only visible at certain angles). Front cover ever so slightly bowed. Pencil inscription to front endpaper, small bookseller's ink stamp to front pastedown. Half-title page and last text page very browned. Foxing, mainly to endpapers and page edges. Brown spots affect lower margins on a few pages including one plate. Dustwrapper has loss, mainly from top of spine and lower corner of front panel. Also has a few small tears and is grubby.
