Large format (10 x 7.5"). Cream cloth with brown titles and pictorial onlay to front cover. Blue illustration to endpapers. 12 colour plates. 180 pages. Spine bumped and worn with some browning, small splits to cloth at ends. Covers slightly grubby, a lot of scratching and wear to onlay. One hinge cracked. Endpapers browned with ink inscription to front endpaper. Light foxing and a few marks/fingermarks to contents. All plates present but two have a large tear, a couple have margin tears and one has a ragged edge, probably reinserted.

Twenty-Third Year of Issue. Green cloth spine. Colour pictorial boards show The Little People by Topham. 12 colour plates and 100s of two-colour and other pictures. Spine bumped, worn and browned. Wear with chipping to corners and cover edges. Couple of small spots of surface paper loss to covers. Rear joint cracked and a couple of hinges cracked, front joint just starting to crack. A couple of margin tears. Some light foxing and marks to contents but generally clean. All plates present but one has loss from margin and two have margin tears.

Wear to corners and cover edges. A few marks and scratches to covers. Pencil writing about contents to front endpaper. Some browning to endpapers, prelims and last couple of pages. Evidence of something having been stuck to rear endpaper. Contents very good.

All plates present but one has small rough patch on it.
