Chequered boards with pictorial onlay. Grey and white pictorial endpapers. Small format. Spine and corners very slightly bumped. Some light rubbing to cover edges. Heavy foxing otherwise contents clean. Price-cut wrapper ('new' price ink stamp above cut) is a little grubby and edge rubbed. Last title listed on rear panel of wrapper is The Lord of the Rushie River.

Tiny corner crease to plate opposite page 16. Small repaired tear to plate opposite page 41. Scarce dustwrapper is in several pieces (torn at spine) and has sections of loss to edges.
