English Idylls series. Pale green cloth with gilt titles and decorations. 25 colour plates. Spine and corners bumped. A couple of large crease marks in cloth on rear cover. Name plate to front pastedown. Browning to endpapers, foxing to contents (some heavy). Front joint is cracked.
Red cloth, gilt titles and decoration to front cover and spine. 12 colour plates plus b/w illustrations. Top edge gilt. Brown and white pictorial endpapers. 304 pages. 9 x 6.5". Spine and corners bumped. Some fading to spine and sunning to cover edges. Endpapers browned and foxed. Foxing to prelims and page margins. Name in ink to front free-endpaper.

Limited Edition of 150. The Temple Library series. Vellum(?) spines, orange/brown title to spine, green cloth boards. Deckle-edged. Numbered copy 139. Both spines grubby, volume II spine is also worn with chips of missing vellum and title is faded. Endpapers and text block browned. Hinges pulled but binding tight.
Small format. Blue leather binding, gilt title to spine and vignette to front cover. Red page marker. Colour frontis, b/w illustrations. 177 pages. A Temple Classics for Young People. Spine is browned, with wear and chipping to leather - a little loss. Some browning/darkening to cover edges. Name in ink to belongs to box. Page edge browning - some foxing to endpapers. Contents are still generally very good.
The first Rackham edition. Green cloth, gilt titles and vignettes. Illustrated green endpapers. 12 full page colour illustrations with tissue guards. Gilt top, other edges untrimmed. 90 drawings in b/w. 638 pages. 8 x 5.5". Spne and corners bumped and rubbed. A few light marks to covers. Name and date in ink and page browning to half title-page. Foxing to contents (mainly at page margins). Page 376 is slightly grubby for some reason, otherwise contents are clean.

A little chipping/fraying to cloth at corners of top of spine. Marks to covers. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing throughout. Page edges are uncut, with margin tears to some. Front joint is cracked.
Olive green cloth, gilt titles and vignettes to front cover and spine. Large format. Dark green pictorial endpapers. Top edge gilt, others uncut. 24 mounted colour plates with captioned tissue guards, 12 full-page tinted illustrations plus numerous b/w drawings. Browning to spine. Bottom corner of front cover is bumped. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to prelims, outer page edges and page margins. All plates present. One plate has small corner crease. Uncut page edges show some creasing.
Green cloth with gilt titles, black borders and colour pictorial onlay of Robin Hood to front cover. Colour plates. Wear to spine and corners. Scuffing to onlay. Small sticker to front free endpaper. Light browning/foxing to endpapers and outer page edges.
Introduction by Jerrold. Pictorial cloth covers. Colour frontis-piece. Uncut pages, top edge of pages cut, with gilt finish. 428 pages. 8.5 x 5.5". Spine and corners bumped. Cloth slightly grubby. Small hole to front endpaper, crack to top 2" of front joint. Half-title has been torn out. Foxing to contents and some page browning.

Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Inscription in ink to front endpaper which is also very slightly edge chipped. Page browning to half-title. Foxing to textblock. Some light fingering else contents clean.
