Colour illustrations. A model theatre to cut out and make. Top of spine split with tear causing flap. Wear to base of spine and corners. Covers lightly browned with a few small marks. Small amount of erased writing to top of title page. Model unused, pages browned to verso.

Dustwrapper is in two pieces as split along front edge of spine. Price-cut. Loss from top of browned spine and chips from ends of folds. Also grubby with red stain to rear panel.

Faint stain, only visible at certain angles, to spine edges of rear and front cover. Tiny bookseller's label to front pastedown. Foxing and light browning to endpapers. Contents very good just an odd margin tear and fox spot. Dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped with tears to ends of spine. Creasing to folds and sides of spine. Browning to spine and unevenly to rear panel. Browning and pink stains to verso corresponding with faint stains on covers.

Bumping and wear to corners. A few light marks to covers. Name in ink to front pastedown and to verso of half- title page. Both joints cracked. Some light fingering otherwise contents clean. One plate partially detached leading to the very tip of one corner being torn else plates are in fine condition.

Four pieces of crossed out writing to front pastedown. Light browning to front endpapers, more browning to rear endpapers. Foxing to text block and page edges. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge torn and chipped, edge tears and 2.5" tear to front panel repaired on verso with clear tape. 1.5" tear to rear flap. Panels grubby, spine browned.

A majority of the content gathered in this volume, were originally contributed to the New Monthly Magazine, during the Author's late Editorship. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Some browning to spine, which also has chipping and fraying to cloth along bottom edge and small split to top of spine, again with a little fraying of cloth. Bookplate and inscription in ink to front pastedown. Marks to outer page edges. Some foxing.
