First story is Mrs. Orpington's Odd Chicken by Agness E. Cash. Spine bumped and browned. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Rear cover is grubby. Front board slightly rubbed. Remains of book label to front endpaper. Browning to endpapers, title page and some page edges. Some hinges cracked. Foxing mainly to page edges. One plate creased at top corner. Dusty marks to last page of text, although text is still legible.

Pen mark/scratch across middle part of front cover. Rear cover lightly browned with a couple of small marks. Contents are complete and unused but have some browning.

One gathering pulled with ragged edges. Foxing and browning to pages and plates, worst at edges. All plates present.

A book written in 1915 "for the amusement of my wife and myself at a time when life was not very amusing" - A.A. Milne. Originally published in 1917 with illustrations by H.M. Brock. 358 pages. U.S. Edition. Some bumping and wear to spine and corners. Bottom corner of front cover has a small nick, with tiny fraying to cloth. Endpapers are browned. Light foxing to outer page edges. Wrapper is edge-torn and chipped; large piece of loss to top of spine; small loss to other corners; creased. Wrapper also has some foxing and a few small splash marks.
