Short stories and rhymes. Large format 12.5 x 10.25". Cloth spine, pictorial front cover shows Santa Claus. 4 full page chromolithographs and 80 b/w engravings. 64 pages. Bumping and wear to spine and corners; some browning and marks to spine; chipping and a little fraying to cloth at top and tail. Scuff marks to covers. Joints are a little cracked. Browning to endpapers; some foxing; a few grubby margin marks. Light pencil colouring to prelims; partially erased.

Munster Fairy Tales For Young And Old. 3 stories. Green cloth, gilt title and border. Attractive b/w plates, some cats but not in Wain's usual anthropomorphic style. xiii + 78 pages. What appears to be 'repairs' to top and tail of spine. A few small splits/nicks to spine, with a little fraying to cloth. Uneven fading to covers. Corners are bumped, with wear. A couple of score marks to rear cover. Margin tear to front endpaper, which also has a couple of partially erased children's names. Foxing. B/w illustration to page 54 has some colouring to it.

Endpapers browned, text block browned with minor foxing. Hinges pulled but binding tight. A few minor marks to contents. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is grubby, faded to spine and chipped at edges.
