Spine is browned with large black ink 'splash' mark to it; chipping to top. Front cover is bowed. Joints are a bit cracked; showing webbing and weak. Name in ink to front endpaper. A little chipping to some pages. Page browning. Rear free endpaper detached.

Red cloth, black titles. Colour frontis and b/w illustrations. 12 stories. 128 pages Corners bumped. A little fading to some cover edges and top and bottom of spine. A couple of small marks to covers. Some foxing to endpapers, contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and creased with a little loss at top and bottom of spine. Rear panel is very grubby, spine is darkened. Clear cover has been taped to inside of dustwrapper.
