Large, oblong format. Brown cloth spine with gilt title. Cream boards. 24 short rhymes for occupations such as builder, vet, clock-winder etc. Each with a full-page colour plate. Covers are worn and grubby. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Joints are cracked but binding is still tight. Small booksellers sticker to front pastedown. Light fingermarks to contents and light page browning to endpapers.
