Oblong format. White pictorial boards. Simple b/w drawings throughout. Billy Bobtail is a rabbit. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed, tiny nick to side of spine. Covers a little grubby and foxed. Light foxing to endpapers. Name in ink (Alec Buckels - but no idea if this is an authentic author signature or not!) to front endpaper. A couple of page hinges slightly cracked. Creases to some pages from the binding process. Contents clean.

Pat stages a mock pirates' visitation on Grant's Creek but when she goes to recover the evidence it has disappeared, then Pat disappears. Green boards, black title to spine. 4 b/w illustrations. 207 pages. 7.75 x 5". Spine and lower corners bumped. A few small marks to covers. Front endpaper is MISSING. Underlined name in pen to half-title page, 200 in pen to top corner of pastedown. Foxing, mainly to endpapers, prelims and page edges. Dustwrapper is edge worn with loss from ends of spine and folds, also grubby.

A trip to Brazil was an unexpected pleasure in the summer holidays. However when they got there they discovered that their host, Brian Mauleverer had disappeared. Peach boards. Colour frontis and b/w illustrations. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Grubby marks to covers. Foxing to endpapers, outer page edges and page margins. Wrapper is badly torn with chipping and some loss; messy tape repairs to spine and edges.

The Playtime Picture Books No. 4. Puppy dog verses. Small format (13 x 11cm). 10 full page colour illustrations by Aldin plus green/white illustrations to text. Red cloth spine, grey paper boards with red title to front and white puppy dog about to land in water. Covers are grubby with slight surface paper damage to the A of 'Tails' on front cover. Front joint is cracked causing front free-endpaper to be almost detached. Small tear to edge of title-page. Foxing throughout and a few pages affected by a small brown mark at edges (includes margins of two plates - although actual pictures unaffected). Still a decent copy of a scarce book.
