Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Spine lightly browned. Covers scuffed and slightly grubby. One hinge cracked. Name and address in pencil to verso of frontis. Large tear through text to page 133/4. Contents have some foxing but are generally clean otherwise.

Light browning to verso of frontis and to one of publication pages at end of book. Light foxing, mainly to endpapers and page edges. One gathering pulled, pages 131-138. Contents generally clean.

Some foxing and slight grubbiness to covers. Evidence of removal of a name plate to front pastedown. Some pale foxing else contents clean.

A story set in Bavaria featuring the Branxomes, their cruiser the Dabchick and a valuable carving. Red boards with blue titles, vignette of Dabchick on front cover and small spire on spine. B/w illustrations. 224 pages. Minimal bumping to spine. Tiny hole to spine in author's surname. Child's writing to page 138 and one word to publisher's page. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn, spine is faded. Pale blue stains to bottom of rear panel, small mark to front panel and tiny amount of surface paper damage. Revised price label to front flap.

Very good condition in a fair dustwrapper.
A collection of fairy-stories illustrated by 12 glorious colour plates plus b/w chapter head and tail decorations. 143 pages. Light blue cloth, silver titles. Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed. Foxing to endpapers and textblock. Dustwrapper has 2 large tears to front panel which have been repaired on verso with double-sided tape (although only 1 side of the tape used!), rear panel of wrapper is lightly foxed and there is some slight chipping to the spine/corners. I think the wrapper was probably in at least 2 pieces, if not 3 before the tape repairs.
