Munster Fairy Tales For Young And Old. 3 stories. Green cloth, gilt title and border. Attractive b/w plates, some cats but not in Wain's usual anthropomorphic style. xiii + 78 pages. What appears to be 'repairs' to top and tail of spine. A few small splits/nicks to spine, with a little fraying to cloth. Uneven fading to covers. Corners are bumped, with wear. A couple of score marks to rear cover. Margin tear to front endpaper, which also has a couple of partially erased children's names. Foxing. B/w illustration to page 54 has some colouring to it.

Brown boards, black titles. B/w illustrations throughout. 95 pages. Grey endpapers. Corners bumped, top & tail of spine lightly rubbed. A few marks to covers. Endpapers browned, text block browned with minor foxing. Hinges pulled but binding tight. A few minor marks to contents. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is grubby, faded to spine and chipped at edges.

Joints have been strengthened with white paper tape. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. A few grubby marks to endpapers. Foxing to outer page edges. Binding/stitching is starting to come loose, so that binding is now weak. Wrapper is very torn and chipped with loss, but picture to front panel is still complete.
