Comprising a topographical description of the several counties of Anglesey, Caernarvon, Denbigh, Flint, Merioneth, and Montgomery. To which is prefixed a review of the History of Britain from the Roman period to the Saxon Heptarchy. Interspersed with notes biographical and explanatory. Large format. Two volumes, leather spine & corners, three raised bands to spine, gilt title to label to spine. Marbled paper boards. B/w plates. Volume II binding appears to be a more modern binding than volume I. Both volumes expertly repaired, volume I has contemporary notes bound in at front. Some paper repair also. Address stamp to volume I title page (small). Foxing and dampstaining affecting plates as well as text mainly to volume II. Marbled paper boards of volume I are scuffed. Bindings of both volumes are nice and tight.

Rear hinge split from staple binding. Foxing to text pages and some minor pencil annotations, woodcut pages generally clean if slightly browned.
