Translated from the Second Enlarged and Revised Edition with Supplement by H.H.P. Powles also bound in. Illustrated with 24 fold-out plates plus another 4 fold-out plates to supplement. 113 woodcuts plus 54 woodcuts to supplement. Brown cloth boards, gilt title to spine. Text block untrimmed. Spine & board corners rubbed & worn. Cloth joints starting to split from the outside. Inner joints still firm. Text block and page edges a little browned. All plates present. A few finger marks to margins. Some dampstaining to some plates.
