18-year-old Margery Paine goes to Rainbows, a model village built by a young heiress, to open its first sweet shop. Blue cloth, black title to spine. B/w frontis. 258 pages. Spine and corners bumped, slight browning to lower edges of covers. Prize plate to front free-endpaper has been mostly removed. Foxing to contents which are otherwise clean. Price-cut wrapper is edge chipped with slight loss to spine and corners and is slightly grubby to rear panel.
