The Brown children go to stay with their Aunt Adelaide in London and Nurse Matilda has to be called in again. Small format. Blue boards with gilt titles and vignettes to covers. B/w text illustrations throughout. Spine bumped. Light foxing to endpapers and textblock. Dustwrapper has clear adhesive film stuck to it causing the colour to 'bleed' a little. Spine is faded. End of silk ribbon is foxed and slightly frayed.
John & Mary Book No. 6. Yellow cloth spine, with pictorial covers. Colour illustrations. Some slight wear at cover edges. Contents clean.
The sixth adventure. Pale blue boards with dark blue 'SS' symbols. B/w illustrations. 124 pages. ISBN: 034034335. Spine and corners bumped. Small rust spot to front cover. Foxing to textblock. Green frog ink stamp to top of front flap (with some slight ink transfer to facing endpaper), also one to verso of front flap. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn and browned on verso.

Price-cut wrapper is edge worn, slight loss to spine and corners with a brown paper repair to top of spine on verso. Wrapper is lightly damp stained on verso, rear panel is scuffed.

Colour pictures plus two-tone and b/w illustrations. 60 pages. Bumping, wear and chipping to spine and cover edges. Some small bits of loss to picture on spine. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. A few margin marks, but contents are still very good. Small piece of surface paper damage and remains of brown paper to rear endpaper. Illustrations are still lovely and bright.
