Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Small format. Green boards with gilt title and decorations to covers. Outer page edges and endpapers red. B/w text illustrations throughout. Boards clean and bright. Text block a little stained. Gift inscription in ink to half-title page. Else contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper appears to have suffered from snail damage at edges (loss to surface paper).

Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
The Brown children go to stay with their Aunt Adelaide in London and Nurse Matilda has to be called in again. Small format. Blue boards with gilt titles and vignettes to covers. B/w text illustrations throughout. Spine bumped. Light foxing to endpapers and textblock. Dustwrapper has clear adhesive film stuck to it causing the colour to 'bleed' a little. Spine is faded. End of silk ribbon is foxed and slightly frayed.

Green frog ink stamp to top of front flap (with some slight ink transfer to facing endpaper), also one to verso of front flap. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn and browned on verso.

A "Janet and Peter Adventure". In which the Secret Seven was formed - this was the very first Secret Seven book after which came the Secret Seven series. Pictorial boards. Colour pictures plus two-tone and b/w illustrations. 60 pages. Bumping, wear and chipping to spine and cover edges. Some small bits of loss to picture on spine. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. A few margin marks, but contents are still very good. Small piece of surface paper damage and remains of brown paper to rear endpaper. Illustrations are still lovely and bright.
