Were they the real jewels in the crackers? Susan and Simon follow exciting clues to solve a most unusual mystery. Blue boards with embossed scottie dog vignettes, white titles to spine. B/w illustrations. 120 pages. Minimal bumping to spine. Endpapers browned. Top edge of text block is grubby. Contents are clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge worn and creased with small areas of loss. Rear panel is grubby. White labels have been stuck on verso of wrapper at top and bottom of spine and top of rear panel / flap.
