Stories told to relieve a little girl of the tedium of a sick bed. Red pictorial cloth with gilt titles. 117 pages. Floral decorated endpapers. 3 full-page b/w illustrations. Spine bumped and very slightly faded. Covers are ever so slightly grubby. Heavy foxing to first few and last few pages. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. A few light fingermarks but contents generally clean. A nice copy of a very scarce Victorian children's book.

Endpapers, prelims and outer page edges foxed and page edges lightly browned. Blue pictorial wrapper is edge worn and torn with tape repairs on verso. Small ink mark to rear panel.
