Limited Edition Cased Set, special numbered edition of 100 sets to commemorate the centenary of the first publication in 1911. Small format book with cream cloth and silver titles. 56 numbered pages, all edges gilt. With explanatory leaflet giving a brief biography of Beatrix Potter and the history of the publication of The Timmy Tiptoes. Contained in a red hinged box with silver title and onlay to front. Also includes a red leather foil-blocked bookmark. ISBN: 9780723266747. It is unlikely the book has ever been opened (still a very tight binding). The presentation box is further protected by a white card slip band. This is copy no. 59. Contained in original brown packaging box (with limitation details label to front) and 'cotton' (referring to binding) written in blue biro to front. This copy would make a wonderful gift.

Green cloth with silver titles. 3 b/w plates. 222 pages. Bumping to spine and corners. Slight rubbing to titles on front cover. Small bump to side of front board. Couple of hinges are cracked. Top edge of text block is dusty. Some light fingering. Scarce dustwrapper is edge worn and creased with loss to top and bottom of spine and corners. Rear panel is torn and mended on verso with tape. . Wrapper is a little grubby.

Dusty marks to last page of text, although text is still legible.

Story of the Coronation with complete instructions for assembling these attractive models of Buckingham Palace, Coronation Procession and Westminster Abbey. Large oblong format, 8.5 x 14.5", red cloth spine, cardwraps, pictorial front cover. 22 pages printed on one side only. Edge wear to spine and covers, small corner creases. Pen mark/scratch across middle part of front cover. Rear cover lightly browned with a couple of small marks. Contents are complete and unused but have some browning.

One gathering pulled with ragged edges. Foxing and browning to pages and plates, worst at edges. All plates present.
