Fold-out theatre at the end of the book and pages of characters to press out. Bumping to top and tail of spine, with some chipping of paper cover. Some foxing to pages internally. Contents are UNUSED!

Pale green boards with red cloth spine. Front cover shows Rupert helping a boy from a hole in the ground. A Story and Picture Book with 120 cut-outs in colour. The cut-outs are Tourtel pictures taken from the stories. Numerous other b/w illustrations. (This is a 1950's reprint of the original which was published with 200 cut-outs and five stories). Contains: Rupert In Trouble Again; Rupert and the Old Man of the Sea; Rupert and the Wilful Princess; Rupert Goes Hiking. This is the reprint with 4 stories and 120 cut-outs (although cover says 200 cut-outs and five stories are listed in contents). Wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Light stain to bottom corner of front cover. Small dark spot to spine. Pen inscription to title page and belongs to box completed. A couple of hinges cracked. Odd fox spot and mark to contents. Cut-outs complete and unused.

Large format. Blue cloth spine. Pictorial front cover shows a snow scene with a tortoise being surprised by a snow ball. Colour frontis + 4 other colour plates. Two-tone and b/w strip pictures. First story is 'The Shipwrecked Mariner'. Bumping and wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Covers grubby, pencil scribble to front cover. Ink name stamp and a couple of letters and lines to front endpaper, drawing to verso. Front joint and a few hinges cracked. A few margin tears, some marks and colouring to contents, also foxing. One plate is MISSING, two are present but detached, one of these has a margin tear. A decent reading copy.

Dustwrapper is edge worn, base of spine and bottom edge of front panel slightly faded, flaps browned.

Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.

The Waterboy is a water molecule that dances down from the clouds and visits all the plant folk i.e. The Bean-Baby, Mother Corn Stalk etc. Beige cloth covers with brown and blue vignettes and titles. Colour frontis and b/w illustrations. 172 pages. A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Light browning to endpapers and page edges. A lot of foxing to verso of half-title and title page, just a couple of spots elsewhere. Dustwrapper has a few tears and some loss, mostly from ends of spine and folds. A bit grubby and spine and folds darkened.

The first book of Rupert's Library. Grey boards with pictorial onlay to front showing Rupert with a Golly and the Magic Toy-Man in the distance. Contains four stories: Rupert and the Magic Toy-Man, Rupert and the Princess, Rupert At School and Rupert and the Old Miser. 3 colour plates plus two-tone illustrations throughout. Rebacked with blue cloth. A few minor scuff marks to front cover, small mark to rear cover. Corners a little worn. Front joint repaired as part of rebacking. Original pictorial endpapers retained. On verso of frontis plate there is an inscription in ink dated 1924 and offsetting from the picture. The outer margin of the frontis is grubby. Prelims and endpapers are foxed. Some foxing to contents but the pages are generally clean. Overall a bright copy of this scarce early Rupert book.
