A dog, Rufus, and his boy, Max, agree to change places for a while. Oblong format. Burnt orange cloth with black title to spine and vignette to front cover. Colour illustrations throughout. ISBN: 0395324351. A few small foxspots to textblock. Dustwrapper is slightly edge rubbed. Remains of a small white label to top corner of front panel (partial removal has caused very slight surface paper damage).

SIGNED by the author to the limitation page, this is copy no. 135. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed, top rear corner is nibbled(?)/worn. Covers slightly grubby and spine slightly browned. Contained in original slipcase which is very worn and a bit grubby. Loss to top and bottom of slipcase.

Dustwrapper is well worn with slight loss, rear panel is grubby and there is a horizontal tear across front panel (tape repaired on verso).
