Covers worn with some surface paper loss, spine a little frayed at top and tail. Joints split. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. Hinges pulled apart. Some pages detached. Possible that some pages may be missing but not known. Contents grubby with fingermarks. Binding still holding but fragile. White colouring to couple of pages. A reading copy only.
