Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers soiled. Foxing throughout, mainly to endpapers. Erased child's pencil writing to front endpaper. Initial 'F' in ink to margin of page 2. Some grubby marks to pages and to rear side of some plates but generally contents still clean. A desirable copy of a very scarce Wain item.

Colour and black and white illustrations throughout. Rear cover a little grubby. Small name in ink to front endpaper. A few finger marks to contents. Pictorial wrapper is a little grubby, a little edge-rubbed with a few tiny closed edge tears.

Light browning to contents else lovely and bright. A nice copy of an exceptionally rare Louis Wain title.

A Father Tuck's Panorama. Oblong format. 4 plates in concertina form that fold out to create a large panorama with 14 numbered card figures of cats, and corresponding numbered slits in the panorama to insert the cat figures. On the reverse is a rhyme by Arthur Burnaby with b/w illustrations also by Wain. Each plate has now separated (the spine has completely gone) so that four individual plates are left. Plates are nice and bright. Six of the fourteen cat figures are missing. One cat figure is missing the head. Some figures a little creased. Rear cover grubby and torn where pocket flap was (pocket flap missing).
