Original hand drawn illustration to front endpaper has been protected with a loose tissue-guard (slight browning). This copy would make a wonderful gift.

Green cloth. Palm tree, plane & aircraft carrier vignette to front. Title to spine. Colour frontis. 4 b/w illustrations. 185 pages. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. There is light damp(?) staining to the lower half of the spine and front cover - not particularly noticeable. Heavy foxing, mainly at first few and last few pages and also textblock. Some grubby fingermarks to page margins and some page corner tips creased. Dustwrapper is edge worn and torn with loss to spine ends and corners (tape repairs on verso). Rear panel of wrapper is grubby.
