Green cloth with black title to spine. 4 b/w plates, including frontis. It was towards the middle of the afternoon that two aeroplanes flying wing-tip to wing-tip, headed eastwards towards the bleak moors on which Bleakmoor Prison was situated. The two pilots had planned an amazing escape of one of the prisoners... Light bumping to spine and corners. Some browning to top and tail of spine and cover edges. Foxing to endpapers, outer page edges and some page margins. Page edge browning. Ink smudges to a couple of pages of prelims. Wrapper is price-cut with edge-tears and chips; loss to top of spine and a couple of corners; faded to spine. Wrapper also has some grubby marks.

Blue boards, black title to spine. 4 B/w plates, including frontis. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Uneven fading/mottling to covers. Some foxing throughout; heaviest to prelims and outer page edges. Wrapper is creased with some large tears and chips; loss to bottom corner of front panel, top and tail of spine; other smaller loss along edges.
Orange/red cloth with black title to spine. Another adventure with the character Scotty of The Secret Squadron. A few bumps to corners. Light fading to spine. Foxing to outer page edges. Also small stain to outer page edges, spreading to some page margins, especially to rear of book. Wrapper is edge-creased with some tears and chips; small amounts of loss.
Orange/brown boards, black title label to spine. 4 b/w illustrations including frontis. Part of The Ace Series. Spine browned, boards grubby. Text block browned. Name & address in ink to front pastedown. Some foxing present. All plates correct.
