Colour frontis, and 6 b&w illustrations. 118 pages. School library stamp to verso of half title-page but no other evidence of this being an ex-library copy. Spine and corners bumped. Dustwrapper is price-cut by publisher with 'new' price printed above.

Dustwrapper is worn and torn, grubby to white spine and rear panel and large section missing to lower edge of rear panel. Small patch of surface paper damage to front panel.

Dustwrapper is edge worn with loss, two large sections of loss to edges of rear panel. Printed price on front flap has been covered with a 'new' price sticker (showing 60p 12s).

Green cloth, black title label and author name to spine. B/w illustrations. Spine bumped. Inscription in ink and a Xmas sticker to front pastedown. Endpapers partially browned. Very pale foxing to textblock. Covers and contents clean. Price-cut wrapper is slightly edge chipped with minimal loss, has a couple of small biro marks to rear panel and a large tear to top edge of front panel (which has been repaired using a white label on verso).
