Two names in ink to half title-page. Foxing to textblock. Price-cut wrapper is edge worn with some slight loss, rear panel is grubby and there is a tear to the centre of the spine. A few old tape repairs on verso.

And, as though that wasn't enough, the story of a missing boy; mysterious signs and messages; a Fair... This is the third story about Susan and Bill and is one of their most exciting adventures. Red boards, black titles and vignette. B/w illustrations. 120 pages. Spine and corners bumped. Cover edges slightly darkened and some fading to top and tail of spine. Dustwrapper is from a later edition (price on front flap is 6/- and "Saucy Kate" is listed on back flap). Old tape marks to edges of wrapper flaps. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn and slightly faded to spine.
