Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is creased with some edge-tears and chips; a little loss; damp mark to bottom of rear panel.

Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to outer page edges. Wrapper is edge-torn and chipped with loss to top and tail of spine and a couple of corners; also foxed.

Two small dents to front cover and two small bumps to lower edges. Front endpaper MISSING. Some foxing, browning to endpapers. Brown marks to margins of pages 14-19. Dustwrapper is edge worn with small tears, chips and some creasing. Also slightly grubby and foxed. Small tear to front panel to correspond with dent. Foxed and lightly browned on verso.
