Red cloth, white titles, vignette of two schoolgirls to front cover. B/w illustrations. 153 pages. Spine and cover edges have varying degrees of fading. Some spotting to covers. Name in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to outer page edges. Some browning. Wrapper is creased with tears and chips - inches of loss to top and tail of spine; other loss along edges and to corners. Wrapper is also grubby.
