Boards unevenly faded, small white stain to top front edge. Foxing mainly to endpapers. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Contents otherwise clean. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is lightly edge-worn, has a large closed tear to front panel and smaller tear to base of spine (no loss and repaired to verso with clear tape), rear panel grubby.

Sunlight on title to dustwrapper spine has imprinted title on to spine of book (faint). Neat name in ink to front endpaper, Some minor rust marks to front flap of dustwrapper and endapers. Text block lightly browned and foxed. Damp staining to edge of prelims and rear endpaper (light). Contents otherwise clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is grubby, rubbed at corners, repaired with clear tape to verso, damp stain to verso (not visible to front). Sounds worse than it is.
